Solo support at Linlithgow Festival 2015 for THE EMILY SMITH BAND!

Delighted to have been invited to sing solo in support of THE EMILY SMITH BAND at this years Linlithgow Folk Festival on Saturday 12th September in The Academy Theatre at 7.30pm

Really chuffed that North Sea Gas have included my song "Some Hae Meat" (written along with Rabbie Burns of course!) on their new CD "Fire in the Glen" just released in July 2015.

THE BRUCE & WALKER ROADSHOW! Returns to Rutherglen Town Hall in November 2015.

BRUCE & WALKER return again to Rutherglen Town Hall, Glasgow on Wednesday 18th November 2015 after a successful night there in 2014. This year it is a ROADSHOW with FRASER BRUCE and MOE WALKER and THE MAIRS FAMILY BLUEGRASS BAND “A brilliant night’s entertainment!”

Back at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015!

BRUCE & WALKER with FRASER BRUCE and MOE WALKER will be back at the Edinburgh Fringe this year! SOLD OUT last year! Dates are Thursday 13th August (SOLD OUT) Friday 14th August (SOLD OUT) Wednesday 19th August and Monday 24th August Plus Ian Walker (solo) at the Fringe in the ROYAL OAK on Friday 28th August.

UK Songwriting 2014 Award

Bruce & Walker's song "Ode to an Old Friend" from their last album "Born to Rottenrow" on Greentrax Records, Edinburgh has received an award for reaching the semi final stage of the prestigious UK Songwriting Contest 2014. Songs are carefully examined by an expert team of music industry judges and very few of the songs entered get to the semi stage. The award is certainly better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!
